Although a good deed is its own reward, and giving back to our community is just good citizenship, practical benefits for participants are many. This is a unique opportunity to network and connect with potential partners and clients. This will be a high-profile project with lots of media exposure. Media sponsors like WMUR, The Union Leader and New Hampshire Magazine will tell the story as it develops. A celebration upon completion and an Open House that will be part of the award-winning Palace Theatre Kitchen tour in June will provide additional fame to partners. A special story in the January issue of New Hampshire Magazine will highlight the work of the charter members of this group and an insert to New Hampshire Magazine's "Best of NH" issue in July will list all the participants in a convenient directory format and will be overprinted to distribute to partners for their own marketing.

A party is planned for the project completion, Sunday May 16. We hope you'll be there to join us in a celebration of all that can be done when a community join hands and hearts.

We welcome your involvement in Building on Hope. It's a big job, but many hands make light work. We need volunteers in every area of the building trade from demolition, building, landscaping and design as well as people just willing to volunteer time, materials, funds or other resources.

• small 5'x8' addition to enlarge kitchen

• remove landscape and several trees
• install handicapped landscape ramp to front door
• install fence along north edge of property
• remove and add asphalt court
• install basketball hoop

• frame stair to basement
• add FRP panels to first floor walls
• paint and furnish all rooms including bedrooms

• install new high efficiency boiler
• install new baseboard heat
